Star Wars Toothbrushes for Kids

Dr. Adam

From central Texas, I spent most of my young professional career advancing my knowledge and becoming a board certified pediatric dentist. Unfortunately, I have experienced an occupation ending disability and had to sell my practice. After selling my practice, I have since committed my efforts to spreading expert opinion to parents regarding the oral well-being of their children. Thanks for stopping by and please don't hesitate to contact me should you have any questions.

Thanks for the review of this toothbrush! my kids have been asking for mechanical toothbrushes but we have been holding off due to how expensive some of them can be (along with a short life span since my kids still like to chew on their toothbrush). Is there an affordable mechanical toothbrush that you do recommended for a 3 and 4 year old?

Thanks for stopping by. A mechanical toothbrush is one that is not electric. So a soft to extra soft toothbrush would be the way to go. An electric or motorized toothbrush is run that runs off of batteries or a charge. I think the advantages of an electric toothbrush for children is the likelihood it will encourage to want to brush more.

      I hope this information helps!

Hello Dr. Adam, I love your website, I’m particularly impressed with your selected niche, the toothbrush, not just any ordinary toothbrush either. My grandchildren would love this product! I feel the need to mention that I am a Star Wars fan and your video trailer addition of the new Star Wars Rogue movie had me right from the start. I like the fact that you have provided answers to all the questionable details giving consumers a decent view of all the pros and cons. Excellent work!

Hello Dr. Adam , I love what you have to say about Children’s oral health. I also like the firefly Star Wars toothbrush. I think those might help my younger son. I agree with you that these could help children with taking better care of their teeth and gums. Thank you for the insight .

Your post is great and I think its great that someone gets a good review before they buy something like this for a child. I personally believe that you should work on just getting your child to brush rather than have the distraction, but I guess I am not a kid anymore, so what do I know. Either way thank you for sharing.

OMG! I want to get those for my nephews! They love Star Wars and have several Star Wars bath toys. This article hits very close to home as well, because I had Disney themed tooth brushes and things when I was growing up. Great article! Keep up the great work.

As a parent, I do think that this product is very interesting for children.

Anything that would make them brush their teeth is welcomed. I think you would agree with me, being a dentist yourself.

The only thing is, that many people cannot afford it, as the battery is irreplaceable – am I right?

But at the end of the day, this is a very interesting product.

    Thanks for the great review!

    All the best.

Thanks for your comment. You are correct; the battery is irreplaceable. Therefore, a parent could spend quite a bit of money if their child uses their toothbrush as a toy. Thanks for the honest feedback, and let me know if you have any further comments or questions.
